Problem:

An antivirus software package nod32 had quarantined the file mscanv5.exe and no matter how it was installed on the computer it always disappeared straight away.

Indication of Fault:

The nod32 program shows a suspicious file balloon on the task bar.
If you click on this balloon, a window appears showing that mscanv5.exe is a suspicious file.

Solution:

To restore the file from the suspicious file list (for nod 32):

Open the nod32 control panel
Click nod32 system tools
click Quarantine
Find the file mscanv5.exe, right click on it and click restore.

Note:

Support of NOD32 or other anti virus software is not part of normal MicroScan support.
