When using the Omron PLC Interface to connect to Omron PLCs via 2100-NET , only port 10001 is allowed for, even though the interface setup dialogs allow the port number to be selected.

As of April 2008, the omron driver was converted to 32 bit code, and can now connect to omron ETN21 units and Omron PLCs via 2100-NET without the use of a COM port redirector.
