Connectivity with a 2100-XX-NET system |
To check network connectivity issues with the 2100-NET system, check the
following:
- With a Tools backup
Use the Event Viewer to load the sysevent log from the backup, and then look
for tcpip error messages in the log.
(Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer. click Action, Open Log
File and browse to the file sysevent.evnt and set Log Type to System)
- With a Tools Backup including data
Look at the Operating Log for Socket Error Messages, such as 10060, 10065.
These numbers can be searched on the web with the word msdn.
(search for "msdn 10065" for information on the error number
10065)
Some codes are simply non critical notifications, others are errors that
indicate problems.
