The settings of the interface number are always imported from the currently running jobs settings.

Installation:

To install the interface for image testing of a PLC, add the image as an accessory program (image.exe).
DO NOT add it in the job using Select ModuleWizard. You cannot use the image to test a job using another v4 plc interface if the image interface is already used on a job.

Setup:

Thus to setup the interface number for the image interface we need to add or edit the following section from jobname\setup\win.ini

[Image_Interface]
interfacenumber=5

Save the changes and close and restart MicroScan.

If you make changes to this section in windows\win.ini, these will always be overwritten when the job is started.

To find the jobs win.ini, on the Setup Tools screen, click Open Current Job Folder, double click on setup, locate and double click on win.ini.

Testing:

You can use MicroScan v4 stack.exe to see the transactions going to the interface and being processed
