Upgrade Version 4 to Version 5 Steps on the same PC

1. The pc must be windows 2000 or XP.

2. Close MicroScan Version 4.

3. Install Version 5 from the supplied CD or Web Download.

4. Start Version 5 from the Start V5 Icon (On Start, Programs, MicroScan Software V5, Start MicroScan).

The Import Existing Install dialog is displayed.

Make sure the company name has no full stops in it.

Click OK.

Click Yes to confirm Jobname.

Click Continue on the space required dialog.

The Upgrade Progress dialog is shown.

The operation is complete, click OK.

The software will then need to be registered using the Register Now button on the Registration Reminder window or by clicking Register Software on the Setup Tools screen.
