| Example setup steps for adding Ethernet station to MicroScan Version 5 with Add Station Wizard |
Adding 2100-A16-NET to Version 5.
Start
Version 5.
Goto Setup Tools screen.
Click MicroScan Interface.
Enable
Ethernet Mode. Click OK.
Set Port to None if no stations are used on local serial port.
To
Add Station to the System.
On
Setup Tools, Click Add New Station.
Click
Yes
Click
Next
Click
Next
Enter
the stations select number and click Next
Click
Next
Select
"Station attached to 2100-Net". Enter the station ip address.
Click
Next.
Click
Next to program the station.
Progress
window displayed showing station found and then programmed with station number.
Summary
showing station programmed.
Click Finished.
Once a
station has been assigned, use Configure Pages and Lines to connect to the
station as if the station was connected to the local serial port.
