When testing the toolbox FO_Calc function (which uses store.dll to access store files), it was found necessary to exclude VET (CA Anti Virus) from scanning the jobs data folder, as sometimes a file opening conflict existed and this prevented Version 5 from opening recorder map and store files properly.

Symptoms Include:

Recorder Pages losing graph information, not drawing properly. When switch away and go back to a page no data there.
Repeatedly click Line then History button sometimes graph is not displayed.
Start and stop of batch files not recorded properly.
History button reports error reading File 0 intermittantly.
CreateFileErrors with code 32 listed in diag.txt

The folders to exclude are

c:\mscanv5\jobname\data or
c:\microscan\jobname\data

Where jobname is the name of the job that version 5 is running.

Note:

The FO_Calc and store.dll function was upgraded Jun 1,2007, to improve calculation performance, but excluding the folder was still found to be necessary.
