Example setup to show Station Good Alarms on Version 4 |
The ambient Sensor for the station is read into a line. However when the station goes offline, and the value of this line will be zero, but will be indicated as Error 1. When a line is at Error 1, no alarms will operate, hence the use of another line setup as a math line to copy the value of the Ambient sensor, and the alarms will be performed on the math line.
Setup using Setup Manager, click Recorder Setup button
Step 1.
Setup a Line to read
in the Ambient Sensor from the Station.
Step 2.
Setup up a new line
as a Math Line, to copy this value.
The Low alarms are then setup on this math line (it will read ambient senor
reading when station good, and the value 0 when the station fails).
Click Math Settings
category
Set the Function to
Copy, and Input A to be the line setup in Step 1.
Click Alarm Setup
category to make alarm settings
Click Enable Alarm
on.
Click Low Alarm to
monitor for a low value from the station.
Click Enable Output
on, then click Alarm Outputs to setup the output for the alarm.
At least one relay
must be enable on, and Latch ON.
Click OK.
Note:
The High Alarm
Settings for the line are not used.
Click Save and Close
to save changes.
