In this example, a tag is used to toggle relay 1 on a 2100-A16 on a regular basis

Step 1:

Create a tag set to the required output location

Set the Scan mode to Output Only.

Click Retransmission category

Click Enable On, and Watchdog Toggle ON.

The rate refers to the Tag Scan rate set in Setup Tools, Mimic Details or Tag Details, and defaults to Fast 1 Sec, Medium 10 Sec, Slow 30 Sec.
The relay will toggle at approximately these rates +/- 1 sec. Any number of tags can be set to toggle. A watchdog tag output should not be shared with any other function such as tag or recorder alarms, or station controllers in an A16.

Note:
When using tag watchdog retransmission at least one tag in the tag data base should be set to read in a value.
