Help Topics are simplified setup information for common operations within MicroScan and are designed to work with the Help Topics pane visible at the bottom of the Setup Tools window.

They give general overview information on the various topic areas, without going into indepth information that is found in the remainder of the MicroScan help system.

You can view each set of Topic Information by clicking the More Topics link, or click Show All for a summary of all topics covered.

The Setup Demos give information on setting up the various equipment with MicroScan, and can also be used to tell version 5 to load the associated job so all the settings can be seen and tested live within V5 in Agent mode.

New Users of MicroScan

For new MicroScan users, please read Steps 1-4, Add and Program Stations and Configure Pages and Lines as they cover the basic setup steps for a MicroScan system, presented in the order they would normally be done.

Web Links are topic items that are install guides or manuals loaded from the Internet. Your computer will need to be connected to the internet and adobe reader installed to view these links.

Module Options

Topic areas such as Mimic and Network and PLC setup are all part of Help Topics. These particular parts of MicroScan may not be available according to your modules purchased.
