Run Mode

You use the Run mode to allow an operator to use the Mimic, set values using buttons etc

Edit Mode

You use the Edit mode to create and edit mimics.

Full System Protection - Start MicroScan with Mimic Editing Locked up and in Run Mode

Full System is used to lock up a MicroScan system, so that passwords are needed to be used to allow the editing of setups etc.
This protection is enabled on Setup Tools, Program Security, Full System Protection On.
When full system is used the Editing bars etc are NOT visible unless the editing password has been entered.

Mimic Editing Bar

In Run Mode - Run button is clicked

In Edit Mode - Edit button is clicked.

Switch Mimic To Edit Mode

If Full System protection is ON, the mimics edit mode password must be entered to allow mimic editing.

Click Tools, Passwords, enter the password "editmode", click OK.

Otherwise use the "Edit" button on the Mimic Editing bar to allow object editing.

Switch Mimic To Run Mode

If Full System protection is ON, the mimics will start in the RUN mode.
While editing, to switch to the run mode, click the "Run" button on the Mimics Editing bar to enable the use of buttons and hotspots.

To Lockup the mimic again in Full System:

Click Tools, Passwords, click the Cancel Access button.
