Mimic Setup |
Object Display Mode |
The Objects Display Mode settings determine how the object is drawn on the screen.
An
object can be either displayed as "Opaque" or "Transparent".
Opaque
means that the object will overlay the background and cover the background with
its background colour. In this case, both the objects' foreground colour and
background colour are used to draw the object. Thus the background is hidden
behind an opaque object.
Transparent
means that the object overlays the background, but the background is left
intact. In this case only the objects foreground colour is used
Display Mode Settings
Opaque
Will draw the object with the Objects foreground & background colour.
Transparent
Will draw the object with the Objects foreground colour only, leaving the
background image partially visible.
Paint Inside Border
With opaque, fill the entire object with the background colour (use with
Opaque for display of flashing objects / alarms).
Border
Draw a black rectangle around the objects border.
Ellipse
Draw the object as an ellipse, or circle depending on the size of the
object.
No Clip
Draw the object without clipping it (will result in faster displays).
Flash on Alarm Objects should all be set to Opaque and Paint Inside Border.
Notes:
If all analogue, digital and Bar Graphs are drawn on the screen with the
"Opaque" option this will result in flicker-free displays and also
much faster update times.
