Batch Recording
Overview |
The Recorders Batch Recording mode allows a page to record data into a batch.
Summary of Batch Recording:
- A Manual Batch is started and stopped by the user using the Batch
Recording window.
- An Automatic Batch is started and stopped by a digital line in the
recorder.
- A Header can be entered to record text along with the batch.
- When the batch is complete, it can be viewed as a single batch using the
Batch Display.
- When the batch is complete, a graph of the batch can be printed.
- Alarms can be monitored during the batch, and not when the batch is
stopped.
- Batch File names can be manually entered when in Manual Mode before the
batch is started.
- Batch Start and Stop is protected with access codes.
- The value of a line can be used as part of the filename, allowing a PLC to
name batches by setting a value.
- Several Manual batches can be controlled at the same time using the Manual
Sync mode.
- Several Automatic batches can be controlled at the same time by tying them
to the same controlling line.
- When in the Batch Mode, a pages Daily Totals become Batch Totals. They are
reset to zero at the start of the batch and only totalise when the batch is
running.
- The Batch Display is used to display the entire batch on one screen.
