The Setup PLC Interface dialog box is used for making settings needed for PLC Operation.

These settings will only appear if PLC Interfaces have been enabled in the Select Module Wizard, PLC Interfaces Page.

General

• If the PLC Interface uses a serial PORT, the serial settings are on this dialog.
• If the PLC is an Ethernet version, settings will be made via a IP Settings button.
• A Map button is provided to review allocations, DO NOT use this to create slots and words as was done in previous versions of MicroScans. The slots and words are now automatically created when the PLC locations are accessed via tags or lines.
