General Help Information on the Mesh ID
- The Factory Default Mesh ID is 1
- The Mesh ID is not to be confused with the node address set on each units
DIP SW A.
- The Mesh ID change is for advanced users only and not normally neccessary.
- All Z-2400 devices must be set to the same ID otherwise they will not
communicate, when a new device is added it must also be changed to match the
site mesh ID.
- If a device has a mesh ID that does not match the base, its 1+2 lights
will flash at the same time to indicate no connection to base.
- The Mesh ID is changed on a site when the site or neighboring site both have MicroScan
ZigBee networks.
- Change the Base Mesh ID using Program Station Setup Base, Set Base Mesh ID
- Change the Remote Mesh ID using Program Station Setups, Advanced, Set
Remote Mesh ID
- Change the Sleeper Mesh ID using XU Setup Software, CH1 Mesh ID
- Zigbee Z-2400s over the same physical area can operate with different mesh
IDs but the equipment will NOT be able to see each other.
