General Help Information on the Mesh ID

• The Factory Default Mesh ID is 1
• The Mesh ID is not to be confused with the node address set on each units DIP SW A.
• The Mesh ID change is for advanced users only and not normally neccessary.
• All Z-2400 devices must be set to the same ID otherwise they will not communicate, when a new device is added it must also be changed to match the site mesh ID.
• If a device has a mesh ID that does not match the base, its 1+2 lights will flash at the same time to indicate no connection to base.
• The Mesh ID is changed on a site when the site or neighboring site both have MicroScan ZigBee networks.

• Change the Base Mesh ID using Program Station Setup Base, Set Base Mesh ID
• Change the Remote Mesh ID using Program Station Setups, Advanced, Set Remote Mesh ID
• Change the Sleeper Mesh ID using XU Setup Software, CH1 Mesh ID
  
  
• Zigbee Z-2400s over the same physical area can operate with different mesh IDs but the equipment will NOT be able to see each other.
