To set update rate, set 1 of switches 1-6 ON only to control the update
rate (only 1 switch should be set on).
Set SW 8 ON to turn on the sleeper.
When the sleeper is sleeping it is not taking readings. The
value sent to the base is the value that the sleeper reads at the time of
wakeup.
The update time is not synchronized with a time clock, it is the elapsed time
from when the sleeper was turned on.
