Over Voltage Protection Unit
LPN-OVP

With winter well and truly making its presence felt,
it is a time when extreme weather can generate lighting conditions making field devices susceptible to damaging earth potential rises.
Intech strongly advise that Over Voltage Protection should be installed to prevent costly componentry replacement if you are unlucky to be on the receiving end of Mother Nature.
While a direct hit will not prevent a very unhappy outcome, using devices such as the LPN-OVP which feature two stage protection, initially in the form of Gas Discharge Tubes – then Transient Voltage Suppressors will afford the best practical protection for your installation.
