The 2100-IS-USB converts and isolates USB from a computer to RS485 or RS422 for communication to data high-way stations. The 2100-IS-USB includes audible and fail safe alarms of communications failure, with selectable time delays. It has independent power on both sides of the isolation barrier, making it suitable for working with many types of PCs and PLCs. It includes thermal shutdown and over current limiting.
