Energy Wizard Controller -Network Editor Overview
The Controller Network Editor program enables some control of the loads from a remote
PC.

Also, if the Controller is configured for multiple control groups then the Controller
Network Editor can be configured so that it will only be able to see and edit those loads
that are allocated to a respective group. This is useful in simplifying the management
task where multiple production managers are involved.
Once the Energy Wizard has been installed on the remote PC it must first be setup.
Click on the menu View\Setup and the following form will appear:
The following can be configured from the Setup Form:
- Network Scan Time (secs) - Set the time interval that the Controller Network Editor will
update itself by accessing the respective files from accross the network. This is usually
a compromise between not overloading the network if too fast and not being too slow for
the operators, 30 seconds seems to be a good initial setting.
- Default Group Number - If groups are being used then select the Group Number for this
PC, otherwise leave it set to Group 1.
- View Other Groups - This is usually only enabled if the PC is used by an administrator
as it allows all of the groups to be viewed and edited.
- Network Path - Set the network path to the same place where the Controller has its
network path set.
