Note: these displays show windows XP and Vista displays that occur if the dongle has been attached to the computer before the MicroScan software has been installed.

On Windows XP, when you attach the MicroScan DLP-D dongle to the computer, windows should find it and say a new device is attached "MicroScan  DLP-D". If the drive is just presented as "USB Device" as shown below it means that the dongle drivers have not been loaded before attaching the dongle to the computer.
