When setting up an XPORT for either 2100-A16-NET or 2100-A16 use, the "Enable Packing" setting must be set to True for normal operations. If it is set to false, the attached serial device on a 2100-NET or 2100-A16-NET will not respond properly.

Note: This is factory set when the A16 is calibrated. Do Not confuse with "Apply Factory Defaults" in the Web Interface - this refers to Factory set as manufactured by Lantronix and is NOT the correct setting for A16 products as it will turn off the Enable Packing setting.
