You can use Recorder Access levels to protect from your system from alarm changes and setup changes. Access protection is fully engaged when Full System protection is on (in Setup Tools, Program Security - See Step 4 - Auto Start and Security)

• Single User Logon
  
  Uses password for level1 access (alarm setup, enables)
  Uses password for level2 access (calibration)
  All users that use microscan use same access codes.
  Access Links : Enter Access Code, Cancel Access
  
  
• Multi User Logon
  
  Uses username and password to allow setup settable options for each user from the following list:
  All settings
  Alarm Setpoints
  Alarm Enables
  Accept Alarms
  Batch Start, Stop
  Add Notes
  Calibrate Lines
  Backup Store Files.
  Access Links: Logon, Logoff

Single User, Multi user access mode is set in Setup Tools, Passwords and Users. In both modes, access entry and cancel is audit tracked, and timeouts can be applied to auto cancel access. Access links appear on Setup Tools, Recorder Home, and on the Access menu.

Note:
Once Fullsystem is ON, click Cancel Access to lockup MicroScan which will then be fully protected. If Fullsystem is ON, MicroScan starts in fully protected mode.
Use setup password to enter setups again, and close password to close microscan.
