Alarm Operation - Reset On Hour |
The alarm reset on hour is used to re flag the alarm, to indicate again that the line is still in alarm. This is used to repeatedly announce the alarm via siren or autodialler for attention.
Example time line for Reset on Hour Alarm.
Setpoint is 10 Deg C, Alarm delay is set to 5 Minutes
Line goes above 10 Deg C at 10:05.
Alarm is announced at 10:10, relay turned on.
Alarm is reset at 11:10, relay turned off.
Line is still above 10 Deg C at 11:10
Alarm is announced at 11:15, relay turned on.
Alarm is reset at 12:15, relay turned off.
Process repeats until lines value returns below 10 Deg C.
This operation is new to Version 5. Version 4 software did the auto reset on the
hour, regardless of how long it had been since the alarm occurred.
When an alarm has been cleared automatically by Reset On Hour, it will be
displayed the in Auto Alarm Cancel
window.
