• Clearing Latched Alarms

The Alarm Status window is used to Clear Latched alarms. To clear an alarm, select it and press Clear Alarm, or click Clear All Alarms.
The alarm relay will be turned off according to the Manual Alarm Clearing Mode.

If the clearing mode is set to "Reset Relay when all alarms are cleared", the relay will be turned off when all alarms attached to this relay are cleared.
i.e if Page 1 Line 1 alarm has  turned on relay 1, and Page 1 Line 2 alarm has also turned on relay 1, then relay 1 will not be turned off until both of these alarms have been cleared.
If the clearing mode is set to "Reset Relay when any alarm is cleared", the relay will be turned off when any alarm attached to this relay are cleared.

• Clearing Unlatched Alarms

Unlatched alarms do not need to be cleared, as they are cleared automatically when the value returns to limits. They do not appear in the Alarm Status window.
