MicroScan Passive Setup.

The Active must be setup first for networking and be running before setting up passives.

Method 1: From MicroStart first time Run.

On the Create New Job Startup screen, click "Network Passive Only".
Click OK.

The Network Setup Window will start.
Click Next
Select an Active from Available Connections.
Click Next
Click Finish.

Method 2: From MicroScan Setup Tools Screen

• Part 1:
  
  Set the software to Network Passive Only Mode

  On Setup Tools screen, click Select Module Wizard.
  Click Set as Network Passive Only
  Click Finish.

• Part 2:

  Use Network Setup to Configure the Passive.

  On Setup Tools screen, Click Network Setup.
  Click Passive MicroScan (if not already selected).
  Click Next
  Select an Active from Available Connections.
  Click Next
  Click Finish.

You can connect to the network share via a mapped drive or UNC Path.

Note : A Passive does not do Automatic backups of its settings, as this can easily be rebuilt from reading data from the Actives.
