The Export Log tool is used to Export data from the Log file to a CSV file that can be read into programs such as Microsoft Excel.

• Click the Export button on the Log View Button Bar to Export Data.

• Select the Log Type to determine the records to be extracted. "Operating Log" is all the records in the Log File.
  When you open the Export window, the Log Type will be set to the type of log that is currently being viewed.
• Enter a File Name for the output file. If a path is not specified the file will be stored in the Jobs Data Folder.

Click OK to Export the Data. A Message box will appear saying the Export is complete.

You can click View CSV to browse to and load the CSV file within the recorder to see the results of the export.

To Export a previous months file, select the File using Select Log, then use Export Log File.

Note: Only the records from one months log file can be exported into another file (i.e if the logs from Jan, Feb,Mar are needed they need to be exported separately, then combined together in the viewing program such as Microsoft Excel).
