Configure Alarm Relays is used to setup Alarm Relays within the Recorder.

Note: Station Relays are automatically added to Alarm Relays when the Add Station Wizard is used to add a station, as in the following step

so editing Alarm Relays with Configure Alarm Relays is not normally required. 

You access this window, by

• Click Configure Alarm Relays on the Setup Tools screen.
• Click Configure Alarm Relays on the Recorders Tools Menu.

Create a Relay

• Double click a Free relay and enter required settings
• Drag a relay output from the station map to a Free Relay

Edit a Relay

• Select the relay in the Recorder Relays List, and click Edit Relay
• Double click on the relay in the Recorder Relays List

Delete a Relay

• Select the relay in the Recorder Relays List, and click Delete button
• Select the relay in the Recorder Relays List, and hit the Delete key on keyboard

Click Yes to delete the relay.

Recorder Relay Banks

Normally MicroScan is setup for 1 bank of 32 alarm relays, but it can be setup in a V4 legacy mode to allow 1 bank of 32 relays per ten recorder pages, set in the Alarm Settings, Alarm Relay Mode.

Separate Bank mode

When in the Separate bank mode, the Recorder Relay List shows a separate bank of relays per each set of ten pages as shown below.

Further page relays are listed toward the button of the relay list

Click the + sign to open the bank of relays for viewing/editing
