The DIP switch settings on the base/remote define its address and unit options.

Z-2400-RB layout

DIP SW A sets the Node address, Baud rate setting. See DIP SW A.
DIP SW B sets the base/remote mode and other options. See DIP SW B.

Z-2400-TCP layout

Note: the Z-2400-TCP does not support operation as a remote (i.e DIP SW B3 must always be OFF).
