Description
This ITEM is often used in conjunction with the MicroScan Tool Box Remote Editor program. The Remote Editor program is an easy way for operators to change values at run time.
For an ITEM to appear in the Remote Editor it must be a Remote Value ITEM.
Properties
| Class Name | A unique name for this item. The class name is display only and cannot be changed. |
| Name | Enter a meaningful name for this Item so that you, and other people, will easily recognize what it is for. |
| Enabled | No - The ITEM is not enabled and will not update
when its TASK updates Yes - The ITEM is enabled and will update when its TASK updates. |
| Value | Set the value required. This will be the value of the ITEM when it is running. It is this value which can be changed by the Remote Editor program. |
| Type | The Type property is for the Remote Editor
program. It specifies what type of input screen should be presented to the operators. This
is useful in helping to prevent erroneous information from being entered. Value - This option allows for any value to be entered. Also for this option the Lo Limit and the Hi Limit can be used to qualify the input via the Remote Editor program. YesNo - This option tells the Remote Editor to display a Yes-No dialog box. No = 0, Yes = 1. StartStop - This option tells the Remote Editor to display a Start-Stop dialog box. Stop = 0, Start = 1. OnOff - This option tells the Remote Editor to display a On-Off dialog box. Off = 0, On = 1 HrsMins - This option tells the Remote Editor to display a HrsMins dialog box. This returns the Hours and Minutes in a 24 Hour decimal format, that is the time 3:05 PM would be returned as 15.05. Month - This option tells the Remote Editor to display a Month dialog box. This returns 1 for January and 12 for December. |
| Lo Limit | Used only in conjunction with the Value option
above and when using the Remote Editor program, otherwise it is ignored. Enter the Lo limit Value required. |
| Hi Limit | Used only in conjunction with the Value option
above and when using the Remote Editor program, otherwise it is ignored. Enter the Hi limit Value required. |
| List | If "List" is selected in the Type property above then select the required List number here, otherwise this property can be ignored. |
| Pwd Level Required | Set the Password Level required to change the value when using the Current Values form in the MicroScan ToolBox Remote Editor. |
