MicroScan Tool Box - Remote Editor

Overview

Overview

The MicroScan Tool Box Remote Editor program is designed to run with the MicroScan Tool Box and to provide an easy way for operators to change settings within the MicroScan Tool Box while it is running.

Items that can be changed by the Remote Editor are Remote Values. These are like fixed values that only change when forced to by the Remote Editor or by the MicroScan ToolBox Setup program.

The Remote Editor can be used with or without the MicroScan Mimic program.

Generally if the Mimic is not running then the Remote Editor's Options are set so that it is NOT hidden in the MicroScan System Tray, but is visible all of the time. This allows the operator to access the "Current Values', "Recipe Setup' and 'Select Recipe' functions of the Remote Editor via it's Main Form.

Conversely, if the Mimic is running then the Remote Editor's Options are normally set so that it is hidden in the MicroScan System Tray and then Mimic Buttons are setup so that they can display the 'Current Values', 'Recipe Setup' and 'Select Recipe' functions as required.
