Station Status Display |
This window shows the communications status, which is located on the bottom left
of the Recorder Window.

Screen Display.
It displays different messages as the different stations and/or PLCs respond to messages.
Double click on the Station Status window to open the Station Stats dialog box.
Example Messages
Message | Meaning |
Station XXXX Good | The station is replying with Good Data |
Station XXXX Retry | The station has not replied to a recent command. |
Station XXXX Bad | The station has not replied to several retries in a row. |
Station XXXX Timeout | The station has not replied to several commands in a row. |
Station XXXX Auto Offline | The station has not replied to several commands in a row, it has been timed out and will be tried again later. |
Port Idle | The COM port has not received data for 20 seconds. |
Port Reset | The COM port has not received data for 60 seconds, The COM port is being closed and reopened again. |
Station XXX OFFLINE | The station has been manually taken offline for testing purposes. |
Comm Error XXXX | A Comm Error has occurred. It is recorded in Station Log. See Comm Error. |
Blank - No Message | The COMS: entry will be empty if no station message has been generated for the last 10 seconds. |
The Station Not Found window is shown for persistent errors when communicating with stations.
To View messages that have quickly flicked by, double click on the Recorder Station Status window, and click Trace on the Station Status display. See Recorder Station Status Trace.
