The networking setup consists of three steps -

• Step 1:
  
  Setup File Sharing.

  Setup Networking Sharing for computers to access a common network folder. This is normally done by IT staff, or it could be a common network share already in use by the computers.

• Step 2:
  
  Setup the Active.

  The Active must be registered with a network licence, and then the Network Setup tool is used to setup the software.
  Any form of Active must be licenced.

• Step 3:
  
  Setup the Passive.

  From Startup on a new computer, you can select "Network Passive Only" mode, then go straight through to Network Setup to do the passive setup when the Network Passive is started.

  OR 
  The Passive must be put into the "Network Passive Only" mode using the Select Module Wizard, and then the Network Setup tool is used to setup the software. The Active must be running and setup for networking first, before attempting to setup passives.
