Alarm Operation - Settings & Displays

Alarm Enable The alarm enable dialog box is used to enable or disable alarms.
This can be used to temporarily turn off alarms when they are not needed.
Please remember to re enable alarms when they need to be monitored again.

Alarm Setup The Alarm Setup dialog box is used to make online changes to alarm enable, setpoints and delays.

Alarm Scheduler The alarm schedule is a day of the week scheduler to enable/disable alarms for different time zones during the week.
This could be used to selectively monitor alarms on a freezer, when during the day 8:30am to 5pm the door is frequently opened, but during the night the temperature needs to be monitored very tightly.

  • Displays
Alarm Log The alarm log is a permanent file record of alarms that have occurred with the File Log setting on.

Alarm Summary The Alarm Summary displays shows the current readings, setpoints and alarm status information for lines in the Recorder.

Alarm Status The Alarm Status window is used to clear current recorder alarms.

Global Notify The Global Notify window appears to notify a user that an alarm has occurred.

Auto Alarm Cancel The Auto Alarm Cancel windows appears to notify a user that an alarms has been automatically cleared by a reset on hour event.

Alarm Setup Summary Shows a window with a summary or the Recorders alarm settings.

Alarm Relay Summary Shows a window with the recorder alarm relays, and what lines are attached to those relays.

Alarm Monitor Shows a window which gives status information on the recorders alarms.
